Call v. Kishner

Attorney Gary Call is challenging Judge Joanna Kishner in Department 31.  

Kishner was first elected in 2010.  She has a 36.19 percent error rating on 249 appeals. 

She’s a member of the Access to Justice Commission and provides incentives to attorneys (such as being heard first on Discovery matters) in exchange for taking on pro bono cases.  

Call has raised $650 and has nothing on hand, as of July 15.  He has not filed the report due October 15. 

Kishner raised $141,069 and has $82,496 remaining.

Dana Gentry is a native Las Vegan and award-winning investigative journalist. She is a graduate of Bishop Gorman High School and holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She returned to TV news in 2001 to launch "Face to Face with Jon Ralston" and the weekly business programs In Business Las Vegas and Vegas Inc, which she co-anchored with Jeff Gillan. Dana has four adult children, two grandsons, three dogs, three cats and a cockatoo named Casper.
