In Sunday interview with Fox News, Republican candidate for governor Adam Laxalt was asked about his arrest for assaulting a police officer as a youth, when Laxalt lived in the Washington D.C. area. The Reno Gazette-Journal reported Friday that the Nevada Bar Association’s director of admissions said Laxalt should have reported the arrest when applying to the Nevada bar after moving to Nevada in 2011.

So should he have disclosed it, Laxalt was asked?

Instead of answering the question, Laxalt began launching attacks on his opponent, Democrat Steve Sisolak.

“You want to answer the question?” the interviewer interrupted. “Should you have disclosed it to the Nevada bar?”

“We disclose everything we need to disclose,” Laxalt said.

“The indiscretion of youth are the indiscretions of youth for us all,” the interviewer said, concluding the interview by referring to Adam Laxalt as “Brian.”
