On the bright side, Steve Seroka resigned at a convenient time.

The Las Vegas City Council Wednesday voted to hold a special election to replace Seroka, who resigned earlier this month, on June 11, to coincide with the other municipal elections that are already scheduled for that day.

Filing for the empty Ward 2 seat runs Monday March 25 through Thursday March 28.
